After an undeniably long time, I now have the promised summer outfit post. We’re actually bidding summer goodbye here in 90° as the rainy season makes it’s way, accompanied by it’s inevitable downsides (flood, wet pant hems) and quirks (think boots, jackets, great excuse to go shopping for the rainy season). But before I totally kick summer until next year, I have to remember that this is a tropical country and most of the time, the weather is generally hot so clothes have to transition from warm-warm to warm-wet all in the span of 24 hours. Something to that effect. This now translates to summer outfits under trenches, rain coats, boots, and hoodies or the other way around. So for now, I have to focus on the outside, but try to remind myself every once in a while that it’s the inside that counts, in case I get overwhelmed with excitement and bring home a dozen of outerwear (read: faux fur jackets, double-breasted trench coats, short trench coats, military jackets, victorian jackets, windbreakers, full-length coats, a-line coats, cropped sweaters, oversize sweaters, and more!). In this light, I’m glad that even when it comes to dressing up here in 90°, it’s the inside that counts, well most days of the year at the very least and that I still have decades to jazz up on my summer-stylin’ skills because my twenty-something experience isn’t all that well, weather-proof.

ruffle/flapper? skirt

I’ve been busy for a while. My apologies for the lack of posts. My attention has gone to my online shop and really business is business. It really takes so much of my time, but I’m happier that it actually does.

Pink basic inner top I took from my brother’s closet

military jacket which I’m selling already

and new men’s watch and usual accessories

Finally, I can upload photos in our pc.  Wow. I feel as if it’s really been a while since I last posted (and took a photo of) a recent outfit. Photo was from last Sunday, we had dinner on Mother’s Day (or should I say night?) at an Italian resto where I ate what seems like spaghetti, but which really isn’t because it’s really much nicer. Looking at this photo, I kinda like the jacket. I might as well keep it for a little while. I’ve worn this like twice each for like an hour only which is just a sad waste for such a nice jacket. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get a photo without the jacket and just donning my brother’s top and some skinny jeans. Oh well, next time.

black super soft coat
black knit top
Luxe denim skirt that I can live in
grey boots that I’m currently obsessed with
studded belt bag slash body bag
le boyf’s necklace used as bracelet

Uh oh le boyf has inquired. He must’ve been wondering for ages as to why his girlfriend has a penchant for men’s clothing. I mean the clues are everywhere - blazers, cropped men’s jeans, men’s undershirts, and lately I’ve been asking him to donate his clothes to me (instead of charity) if he’s no longer interested in them; I mean I never mind a few loose threads here and there or “lived in” jeans. I ironically live for these things. The more lived in, the softer, the better. Or to others, the grosser. Doesn’t matter what others say, it’s my body anyway.
