Just because I have the lamest excuse for not being able to post outfits for decades now (photos wont upload in the pc, see it’s so lame i told ya!), I’m gonna share a secret I discovered some time ago. Nikita Jade is like one of those dream dainty shops you want to rush to when you’re feeling blue and feel like shopping vintage pretty things in hoards. I personally styled selected vintage dresses and paired them with just released stuff for vintage modern feel.

shoes: ysl tributes, christian loubs, givenchy booties, fringe shoes (i forgot)
clutches: celestinas, roberto cavallis, and check out the celestina pacquiao, first bag on the upper left, probably named after Manny Pacquiao

DAY
black romper leopard print bag & heart necklace
NIGHT
black winged dress silver pumps same bag & necklaceWore this some time ago. But haven’t gotten around to posting it. That’s the first time I posed in a punchy colored-wall and wore black the entire day. The day photo, I wore to a date. The night photo, for church. I love these two outfits so much as they’re so versatile. I can wear them in different occasions and I never seem out-of-place. It can go from punk to chic to casual depending on the accessories I pair them with.

My personal shopping habits are mostly random and impulsive. One moment I tell myself that this year I’m going for flats, the next moment I’m buying 4-inch stilettos. I shop anywhere and that includes online, fabric stores, bazaars, vintage shops, costume shops, out-of-the-way boutiques, designer boutiques, warehouse outlets, gift shops, kids section, men’s department, maternity section (haha!), and markets. If I can afford it and I know that I absolutely love an item, I’ll buy it.
On the other hand, I try to avoid chain stores as much as I can, but hoard on tanks and plain tops on said shops. You will of course find me, on several occasions, at Mango stores when most items are marked 50% off sporting a “war face” (as my beau calls it) like most women shopping there at the said discount. You will also most likely find me at Topshop staring for what seems like forever at the details of a particular beaded dress admiring the craftsmanship, but will opt to just look for a vintage sequined jacket in my mother’s walk-in just so I know I won’t bump into a girl in a similar piece.
Last Sunday afternoon I bought yet another pair of stilettos that a lot of women all over the world bought in 2007 . Irony.

*The first photo was taken in the morning prior to leaving while latter photo was taken when the writer got home.

Similar leopar-print stilettos off the internet. I want to justify that this item has been in my Lust List since 2006, but can’t so will just show the similar-looking pair of wedges I bought in 2006. I have been lusting over these particular pair since I bought my similar-looking wedges, but couldn’t justify buying the stilettos version then, but since more than a year has passed, I can say that I’ve waited so long. And you know what they say, “If you want something bad enough, you can have it.”
No animals leopards were hurt in the making of this blog post.
