Here are my unspectacular quirks:

1) I’m obsessed with girls who look like young boys and boys who look like young girls - there’s just something so wildly sexy about it, think Daria, Erin, Kate (Moss), Linda (Evangelista), and Hedi Slimane male models. Everything on this fashion diary makes me stare, and it’s rude to stare. I just can’t help, but be rude.

2) I want to be a health nut, but I have a daily dose of junk (food), fags/ciggies, and I’m just clueless about exercise. I’m not a health nut, but I recently began boxing class; it gives me a high to torture myself especially with the f***in jump rope, must be the endorphines kicking.

3) I actually turned my entire room into a walk-in-closet-with-a-small-bed to my parents dismay!

4) I wear almost the same comfy flat shoes everyday; when I have about 130 pairs of shoes and counting. About which 120 are high heels.

5) I collect dresses - mini dresses, shifts, vintage, embroidered, designer; but I’m always in cheap jeans or tattered shorts.

6) I live in a tropical country and when you peep in my closet you’ll find dozens and dozens of coats and jackets, tights and leggings, and mostly inappropriate clothing for summer.

Uh oh le boyf has inquired. He must’ve been wondering for ages as to why his girlfriend has a penchant for men’s clothing. I mean the clues are everywhere - blazers, cropped men’s jeans, men’s undershirts, and lately I’ve been asking him to donate his clothes to me (instead of charity) if he’s no longer interested in them; I mean I never mind a few loose threads here and there or “lived in” jeans. I ironically live for these things. The more lived in, the softer, the better. Or to others, the grosser. Doesn’t matter what others say, it’s my body anyway.

It was love at first site for this velvet vest with it’s lush fur trimming as well as these grey boots! I wore the boots like everyday and totally forgot about the other two flat boots I brought (a fringed black boot and ratty brown slouchy ones).This was last weekend in Tagaytay and I’m glad we didn’t do the typical lunch-at-Leslie’s-dinner-at-Josephine’s, but went ahead and had a quick lunch at McDonalds/Chowking and stayed in the hotel the entire day to chill.

As I’d said in earlier entries, I went on a 3-day vacay this weekend to ponder things over and well, just plain dress as myself and take loads of photos.  This pretty much sums up the entire feel and I’ve had a penchant for just frolicking around and lazing about since. Bad, I know. But I have several excuses up my sleeve such as “I’m going back to school and this is my sort-of rest before getting all haggard once again” and “I will have a job, uhm soon.” Photo was taken in Canyon Cove, Batangas.
